In the city of Wuzhou in Guangxi Province, a transformation is taking place. The area is aiming to become the “New Ceramic Capital of Southern China.

To accomplish this, a new industrial park is being developed, the Guangxi Wuzhou Ceramic Industrial Park.

And of course, as with all construction projects of this size, large scale construction equipment is needed, and the equipment has to be productive and efficient, as meeting construction deadlines is paramount.

As a result, over 20 large machines are working in the industrial park to ensure the project can be completed on time. Six LiuGong 950E and several 922E excavators as well as LiuGong’s 888 and 890H wheel loaders are participating in the construction.

The project manager told us the penalty would be 100,000 RMB for every day the project is delayed past the construction deadlines, so the first consideration is the working efficiency.

The scraper bucket on LiuGong’s 950E can reach 3.6 m3, which is the largest reach among the same tonnage excavators in the industry. It is especially fit for big projects related to loose earth moving and can largely increase the loading efficiency.

LiuGong’ s 890H and 950E are both equipped with Cummins QSM11 engines, imported from the US and ensuring strong output with economical fuel consumption, high reliability and durability. The 890H is one of the star products of LiuGong’s large-tonnage equipment and is usually being use for heavy work in mines and ports but as adapted well to the demands of this large job site.

Working in three 3 shifts every day the LiuGong equipment has proved to be just as durable and reliable as advertised. “LiuGong’s equipment is quite potent and effective. There have been no major breakdowns since the project kicked off and with LiuGong’s help, we believe our project can be finished ahead of schedule.” said the project manager.
